Editorial policy
Sources
We cite only verifiable primary sources: peer-reviewed journal articles with a DOI, registered clinical trials with a registry ID (e.g. ClinicalTrials.gov NCT numbers), and official regulatory or public-health documents. We do not cite press releases as evidence, and we do not publish claims we cannot trace to a source.
Review process
Every article is checked against its sources before publication. Study reports are reviewed for accurate reporting of design, sample size, effect estimates and limitations. Named reviewers appear in the article byline where applicable.
Sponsored content
Sponsored articles are the exception, not the rule. When one appears, it carries a clearly visible label in the article header, set via the article's metadata — never disguised as editorial coverage. Sponsors have no influence on our unsponsored reporting.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Substantive corrections are noted at the top of the affected article with the date of the change. Report errors to contact@biomedabstracts.org.
